St Patricks Catholic Primary would like to appoint a temporary class teacher to join the staff of our
hard working, friendly team.
The successful candidate must:
- Be dedicated to the Catholic Ethos of our school.
- Promote at all times the school and trusts vision, values and aims;
- Promote at all times the emotional, developmental, social and academic needs of our
children; - Promote the happiness and safety of all of our children;
- Operate at all times within stated policies and practices of the school;
- Operate at all times within the expectations of the staff code of conduct;
- Contribute to the corporate life of the school through effective participation in meetings and
management systems necessary to co-ordinate the management of the school, where
appropriate; - Contribute to school improvement planning and promote the learning priorities of the
school improvement plan; - Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies, where appropriate;
- Take responsibility for your own professional development and duties in relation to school
policies and practices. - Advise and co-operate with the head teacher and other teachers on the preparation and
development of courses of study, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of
teaching and assessment and pastoral arrangements with regards to subject/aspect of
responsibility - Demonstrate that you are an effective professional who challenges and supports all pupils to
do their best through:
o Inspiring trust and confidence,
o Building team confidence,
o Engaging and motivating pupils,
o Analytical thinking,
o Deep questioning,
o Growth mind-set,
o Positive action to improve the quality of pupils’ learning.
