Curriculum
At Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust we empower all learners by providing each unique individual with the knowledge, skills and cultural capital they require for future learning, employment and the capacity to fulfil their God-given potential.
“Curriculum exists to change the pupil, to give the pupil new power.” Christine Counsell
All our Trust schools provide a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum aimed at developing links between the complex relationships that connect ideas, knowledge and skills in a meaningful way, built upon strong and secure foundations.
It is about making this curriculum relevant, exciting and memorable for all our pupils and students from Early Years (Nursery and Reception) up to Key Stage 5 (Sixth Form).
We recognise curriculum as a continuous journey of improvement and as such, we are always keen to improve, innovate, and ensure we are delivering curriculum in the most effective way to enable our pupils and students to be the best versions of themselves.
Our Curriculum Vision and Supporting Schools to Excel documents strive to ensure that, as a family of schools, we are united in our common goals, whilst allowing the space for the curriculum we deliver to best meets the needs of our individual school contexts.
