Curriculum

All of our Trust schools provide a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum to promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of all pupils and students with the aim of preparing them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.

Our enhanced school curriculum has the national curriculum at its core and follows the catholic ethos, to provide pupils and students with the education and formation that they need to become effective citizens.

Our curriculum is not about memorising facts or examining one off topics.  It is about developing links between the complex relationships that connects ideas, knowledge and skills in a meaningful way, built upon the foundations of recent development research.

It is about making this curriculum relevant, exciting and memorable for all our pupils and students from Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception) up to Key Stage 5 (Sixth Form).

In order to ensure quality we have developed guiding principles for our curriculum and assessment, and have begun the process of having our curriculum offers critically evaluated externally, receiving excellent feedback to date.

We are always keen to improve, and innovate, to ensure we are delivering curriculum in the most effective way to allow our pupils and students to be the best versions of themselves.
